Maui Recycling Group’s mission is to provide public education, research, training and  technical assistance to encourage environmentally and economically sound solid waste resource management systems in the County of Maui and the State of Hawaii.

Established in 1989, Maui Recycling Group has worked in conjunction with government agencies, Maui and Hawaii based non-profits and numerous for profit companies. As a project-oriented organization we have implemented a variety of programs. of Maui and the State of Hawaii.

Current Maui Recycling Group projects include: Aloha Shares — linking up Maui’s non-profit community with individuals and organizations seeking options to landfill disposal of useful materials. Maui Green Building Program — providing technical assistance to energy and green building policymakers, for profit firms and the public.
